Veriforce PEC Safe Land USA 2021 Basic

The Veriforce PEC Safe Land USA 2021 Basic and Safe Gulf training course was designed to take the place of multiple Operator orientations and to give each student a general idea of life and safety issues in the oil and gas industry, upstream, downstream, onshore or offshore. This one-day program meets (API RP 75 & API RP T-1), OSHA, BSSE, and almost all Major and Mid-Major Operators in and outside of the USA, requirements and provides a basic understanding at an awareness level of certain general safety.

Description

Omega Safety Training, Inc. is proud to be in good standing with Veriforce PEC and authorized to provide Safe Land USA 2021 Basic and Safe Gulf to our onshore and offshore industry workers.

This course will be conducted via Zoom Meeting. As a participant you will be required to use a computer or tablet with functional webcam, audio, and microphone for the entire course.  The course cannot be completed effectively via smart phone.

Veriforce PEC Safe Land USA 2021 Basic and Safe Gulf is the most widely used safety orientation in the US onshore and offshore E&P Industry and is accredited by Safe Land USA™.

In a comprehensive one-day instructor-led format, Veriforce PEC Safe Land USA 2021 Basic and Safe Gulf meets API RP 75 & API RP T-1 requirements and provides a basic understanding of general safety information at an awareness orientation level.

Description

Veriforce’s Safe Land USA 2021 Basic is a one-day safety orientation that is accredited by Safe Gulf and Safe Land USA. This orientation provides general safety information that workers need to know before entering a company facility and while performing their assigned work duties. Students will learn about hazards they may encounter in their workplace and become familiar with various practices to mitigate those hazards.

The International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) Life-Saving Rules are the foundation of this program. The goal of the Life-Saving Rules is to provide workers in the industry with the actions they can take to protect themselves and their colleagues from serious injuries and fatalities.

 

Certifications

Upon successful completion of the course, students receive their PEC ID card. This card reflects PEC course requirements the student has met. Employers may verify student training on the PEC ID Card or online at www.PECCard.com. The PEC Digital ID card is also available for purchase through PEC’s free mobile app.

Students prepare to:
• Cover all 4 Modules as per VERIFORCE/PEC Requirements for Safe Land USA 2021 Basic

• Cover additional Safe Gulf module if applicable

• Complete all tests with a minimum passing grade of 80% for each

• Tests are closed book

• Only one (1) retest for each module failed
